Where do diamonds come from - Diamonds Come From Coal? - Find Out Now!

The Diamond is known as an allotrope of carbon and is the hardest natural mineral in the world. Where do diamonds come from? – Diamonds are formed through carbon which is derived from the melting of pre-existing rocks in the Earth’s upper mantle. Due to an massive presence of carbon atoms in the mantle and the extreme temperature changes and adjustments in the upper mantle forces the carbon atoms to go deeper where they melts and forms new rock; as the temperature falls and other conditions, namely pressure remain the same then the carbon atoms in the melting crystal rock bond together to build diamonds. These diamonds are then pushed to the surface through volcanic activity and when they cool mines are formed. These mines are called Kimberlite Pipes and the diamonds take thousands of year s to get to the surface when this phenomenon occurs. The best type of Diamonds are those that are cut finely to fit in any jewelry piece.

The most astounding fact about a diamond is that it is truly indestructible except when smashed against another diamond. Only a diamond can scrape another diamond. There are four major C’s in a Diamond Value:
